Find Our Missing

Other side of town
Carlie woke up in a room by herself. The room wasn't that big and there wasn't much furniture. Looked like it could be a living room. She looked down feeling some type of discomfort only to see that she was tied to a hard, wooden chair. Carlie was confused at first before thinking back to what happened last. The last thing she could remember was being snatched after coming out of the bathroom at school. Her thoughts came to a halt when she heard footsteps.

"She should be woke by now, unless you killed her. How fucking hard did you squeeze her?" he asked.

"Not hard. I didn't strangle her or nothing, just put my hand over her mouth." he replied. They walked into the room Carlie was held captive in to see her looking confused.

"James?" Carlie said with a little anger in her voice making him cringe at the fact that she called him by his real name.

"I am your father." he replied matter-of-factly.

"No you're not." She said low. "Why am I here?" she asked with an attitude.

James chuckled "Just like your mother. See, I want Nicki back and she wants me."

"She doesn't want you." she said with furrowed eyebrows.

"Yes she does."

"No. No she does not. Kidnapping me isn't going to make her want you."

"I just want to talk with her again and taking you would make her want to come get you. My buddy David just wants some money." James said. David stood in the corner listening to him explain the plan to this little girl. He started to think about how dumb this was but if it works and he could have the requested money, he didn't care.

"That's so stupid. You're going to go to jail." David laughed at his friend being told off by his 7 year old daughter. James moved closer to Carlie and grabbed her by her hair. "You just shut up and roll with every thing." Carlie kicked until she hit his jewels. James let go and cringed at the intense pain before saying "Keep acting like that and by the time she gets here she'll have to be on a new mission to find your body."

The police arrived 20 minutes after the call was placed. "Hi I'm officer Steven. Ma'am, can you describe your daughter in the most clearest detail?" he asked.

"She's 7 years old, light skin, about 4'3, she has long black hair that's pulled back into a ponytail, she's wearing a pink and black Hello Kitty shirt with pink shorts and pink Polo shoes, she might have her iCarly book bag with her." Nicki explained still in a panic but calmer than earlier because of Safaree's reassurance that they'd get her back.

The officer wrote everything that was said down. "Is there a possibility that she could've ran away?"

"No she didn't fucking run away! She doesn't have any problems at home." Nicki got offended by that. Safaree tapped her on the shoulder and stepped in before Nicki cussed this man out. "Sir, her school called to inform us that they have security camera footage of some strange person taking her. They said we come to the school to see it." he informed.

"Okay we can meet there. Where is it located?" Officer Steven asked. Safaree gave him the address then got in the car with Nic to head to the school.

"I don't think I can do this Safaree. Like I don't think I can look at the footage of  my child just being taken away like that." Nicki said.

"If you find it hard to watch then just look the other way. I can answer any questions they have."

"Thank you Safaree." she sighed "I just don't know who took her, I feel horrible."

"It's okay Nic, we'll find out who did it and trust they will pay..." Nicki shifted in her seat at the last part. "Please don't do anything stupid to get yourself in trouble."

They pulled up to school a few minutes after Officer Steven. Safaree got out the car then walked over Nicki's side to help her out of the car. She said a silent prayer as they walked into the school together. You could see the remorse in the staff's faces as they look at this couple whose child could be anywhere right now. They were led to the security room.

One of the security guards was describing what was going on in the video to the officer. "Here she is coming out the bathroom and here's the guy in the black hoodie." Officer Steven stopped him "Can we zoom in on his face some more?" They zoomed into his face as he was exiting the building with the tiny 7 year old in his hand. Nicki sat there straight faced as she tried to make out the face, it wasn't that clear.

"Does he look familiar?" the Officer questioned.

"No..no at all." Nicki looked down.

"Any family members? Friends you could've angered? Exes?"

"No. None of my family lives here, I moved here about a year ago..." Nicki sat thinking but suddenly got angry. She turned toward the school's staff "Where was the fucking security at? Why wasn't there nobody by the doors? How did this man get in so easily without being noticed? This is supposed to be a "better" school but parents can't even send their children to school to learn without feeling that it's not safe?"

"We are so sorry, really we are. We've bulked up our security for all parts of the building to prevent this from happening again." The principal stated.

"Of course you're sorry but is any of that shit going to bring my daughter back?" Nicki was enraged.

"Nicki calm down." Safaree coached.

"Don't tell me to calm down, Safaree." Nicki snatched away from him them stormed out the room. Safaree trailed behind and found her standing outside the door in tears. He pulled her into his chest, Nicki accepted the gesture.

Officer Steven came out the room looking for the couple. He patted Nicki on the back. "I'm going to take the footage with me to examine it more. If you have anything that can help the case, you can call this number" he handed her a card with the number on it.

"Thank you." Safaree thanked the officer then grabbed Nicki's and led her to the car.

"So that's it? We just wait?" Nicki asked with an irritated tone.

"That's all we can do Nic. They're going to do the best they can."

"So you expect me to just sit on my ass while anything could be happening to my child? Get the fuck outta here. This whole time it didn't seem like you cared. Walking around all nonchalant because she isn't your child."

"Are you being serious right now, Onika? I love that child just as much as you do. 'Cuse me for trying to keep it together so I can stay strong for BOTH of us. I understand that you're upset but cussing everybody out and trying to make them feel like shit is not going to solve anything." He was pissed at her comment.

The ride home was silent. Nicki didn't say anything back to Safaree, she knew he was right. They both sat and said silent prayers.

Nicki gazed out the window, deep in her thoughts. She went over the past few days for things that she's missed. All of a sudden her eyes went blank, she staired ahead at the road. She grabbed Safaree's arm and he gave her a "what the hell  is wrong with you?" look. All she could say was "James."

"What about James?" Safaree was irritated at the mention of his name. "Safaree. SAFAREE. JAMES!" She kept saying.

"What Nicki?" He was getting worried now.

"He must've taken her, Safaree! He had to!"

"Where does he lived?" Safaree questioned in a tone that kind of scared Nicki.

"Fuck! This is all my fault! I should've never went to meet up with him. My baby could be safe at home but my dumb ass had to go anyways." She banged her fist on the dashboard.

"NICKI!" He stopped her from her rambling. "It's not your fault, he's been sick in the head from the start. He obviously had this planned out. Now where does this nigga live so we can go get out child back?"

"I don't know if he still lives at 1208 Conner Street." Nicki replied instantly.

"That's like a hour away, all the way on the other side." he stepped on the gas. "Let's go."

The whole drive had them both on edge. Once they pulled up to the house that Nicki remembered suffering much in, it made her stomach turn. In this house she was abused by a man she once loved. Sometimes he'd come home hours later with a bouquet of flowers and give her a kiss on the cheek like everything was okay. She fell back into his trap. He was a monster. She thanked God for finally getting out and thanked him for meeting Safaree. He shows her what real love is supposed to be.

She hadn't noticed Safaree getting out and walking to her side to open her door. She looked over the small house, it mad her more appreciative than she already was of her current living state.

They house looked dark. No lights were on and no car was parked in the driveway. Safaree banged on the door as they both stood to the side so they couldn't be seen through the windows. Safaree took Nicki's hand and walked to the back of the house. No sign of anybody in that house. Nicki sighed as they walked back to the front.

"Hey!" a neighbor called. The couple looked his way. "Looking for that guy?" he asked.

"No fucking shit." Nicki said, not loud enough for him to hear though. "Haven't seen him recently." the man continued.

"When was the last time you seen him?" Nicki asked.

"Oh, about Saturday night. He was with his friend I guess." replied the short and stubby man.

"Thank you." Safaree said before pulling Nicki to the car.

"Oh God Safaree. What are we going to do?" Nicki said with her face in her hands.

"Let's just head back to the house and call up the guy to tell him that we have a suspect."

Nicki sat back to put her seat belt on then put her hand over her head. They headed back to their house that was a hour away. It was getting late and food didn't even crossed their minds. Nicki sat thinking about how Carlie was probably starving right now. No matter how much Safaree told her that this wasn't her fault, she still felt it was.

They pulled up to their house some time after 8pm. Safaree walked to her side to help her out the car. "You hungry?" he asked.

"I can't even ingest anything right now." she replied.

He walked her to the front door but stopped once he seen a piece of paper taped to the door but the knob.

It read:
I just want to talk. Let's make a fair exchange: you come over with $100,000 in cash and you can have your child back. No funny business either or that will cause problems for someone's safety...

Comment! Tell me whatcha like, whatcha don't like, what you think is gonna happen next etc. etc.

Damage

Nicki stood there staring at Safaree's blank expression. "Before you jump to conclusions.." she began "it wasn't even like that."

"Then what was it, Nicki?"

"He had asked me to meet him at the park for a simple talk"

"You weren't going to tell me about it?"

"I just..I don't know. I knew you'd be upset."

"Hell yeah I would be. That man caused you so much harm, who's to say he wouldn't again?"

"I just wanted to get some things off my chest okay?"

"What did he want anyway? All these months and he hasn't given a damn about talking with you."

"He said he missed me.." she trailed off in search of his expression "but I told him that I'm finally happy with a great man yadda yadda yadda and some other good shit about you" he chuckled at the last part.

"Seriously Nic, I don't want you seeing him. I just have a bad feeling. I don't it to come to a time where he tries to hurt you or Carlie and I'm not there to protect." He got up from the table and walked over to Nicki with arms stretched open for a hug. "I'd go crazy if something happened to you two."

Few hours later they were cuddled up on the couch watching Love & Hip Hop reruns. "Yo why does Stevie always do that ugly ass face? Looking like a pervert." Nicki chuckled. Safaree mocked Stevie's face making Nicki do an ugly cry laugh. "Please, don't do that no more."

Nicki raised her leg over Safaree's to straddle his lap. She pecked him on the lips "I love you." He returned the gesture with a peck "I love you more."

"When Carlie coming home from that sleepover?" Safaree questioned "I'm going to pick her up tomorrow morning. Oh, did I tell you Lauren is supposed to be moving here in a couple weeks?"

"Werd? I know you happy."

"Mhm. Haven't got to actually hang out with her in a while."

Safaree began playing in Nicki's hair which Nicki was loving. She began kissing on his neck. Safaree carried her upstairs with her legs still around his waist to finish what was started.

Nicki woke up the next morning in Safaree's arms, her favorite position. She went into the bathroom to relieve herself and take a shower. When she got out 30 minutes later, Safaree was sitting up on the bed flicking through channels.

"Good morning babe" Nicki greeted while walking to her closet to get some clothes for today. "Morning" Safaree said with a smile while looking Nicki up and down in her towel.

Nicki pulled him out of his trance. "So how about we go pick up Carlie together then go out for lunch?"

"Fine with me."

"Cool. Now go get your excited ass in the shower." Nicki said pointing at the covers and winking. Safaree just chuckled.

An hour later they were dressed and in the car driving to Jada's house (Carlie's friend). They pulled up to the average sized house and got out to knock on the door. Jada answered. "Hey Jada, how are you?" Nicki asked.

"Hi! I'm good." Jada pushed the door open wider for them to come in. They walked to see 5 other little girls all around the same age scattered on the floor talking and watching TV, Carlie was among them.

"Hey mommy. Hey daddy." Carlie said looking up at them two. "Hey Cee" they said in unison. "Ready to go?"

"Sure let me just grab my stuff." Carlie grabbed her bag with clothes and other things then headed towards the door. "Bye everybody!"

"Wait, you can't just leave without telling Jada's mom that you're going." Safaree said.

"Oh my bad. MS. JOHNSON MY MOMMY IS HERE TO PICK ME UP SO I'M ABOUT TO LEAVE." Carlie yelled making everyone laugh because she was the littlest in the room but the loudest, just like her mother.

Ms. Johnson came down the stairs greeting Nic and Safaree. "Okay dear, y'all be safe okay?" She walked them to the door and waited til they pulled off to close the door.

"You wanna go out for lunch Cee?" Nicki asked. "Yeah, all we had was cereal for breakfast." she responded.

"Did you have fun?" Safaree questioned turning slightly in the driver's seat. "Yeah we watched movies, play games, danced and all that other stuff. It was fun." Carlie replied looking out the window.

They pulled up to Toffee Sensations 35 minutes later for their lunch. They stayed there for about an hour before Carlie and Nic decided they wanted to go to the mall and shop. An idea that Safaree rolled his eyes at because he knows how females are when it comes to the mall.

They shopped for hours, had dinner and dessert there. They didn't stay out too late because tomorrow was Monday, meaning there was school.

They returned home mad tired. Nicki kissed Cee goodnight then returned back to their room to find Safaree already knocked out. Nic took a shower and crawled into bed to cuddle with Safaree.

"Cee. Wake up. You have to get ready for school." Nicki tapped her back. She rolled out the bed and walked to the bathroom. "I'll lay your clothes out on the bed." Nicki yelled out.

Nicki walked back into their bedroom to see Safaree still sleeping, of course. She went to take a shower and get dressed.

Carlie went downstairs to grab a Poptart to eat. "How do you want to wear your hair?" Nicki asked. "One ponytail." Carlie said with her mouth full and crumbs all around her mouth. "Don't talk with your mouth full baby." Carlie swallowed what was in there "Sorry ma."

"Alright grab your bookbag and let's go." Nicki said after putting the pink headband on Carlie. They got in the car and arrived at her school 20 minutes later. After moving in with Safaree they transferred her to a school that was better and closer to the house, she easily made friends. "See you later." Nicki leaned into the backseat so Carlie could kiss her on the cheek. "Love you mommy." Nicki watched Carlie run into the building before pulling off.

Nicki went back to the house to gather some things before heading to the office to start her shift. She had made friends throughout the building over the months, guess you can say she was well liked. Safaree was still in bed sleep, he was going to drop into the office later on.

It's the end of the school day and the kids are getting their things from their lockers. "Ms. Nancy, may I please go to the bathroom?" Carlie asked politely. "Yes sweetie. Hurry back." Carlie jogged to the bathroom to relieve herself.

A man in a black hoodie pulled up in front of the school. You had to be buzzed in from the main office to be allowed access into the building. He waited until a parent was buzzed in then sprinted to the door, the lady seen him coming so she held the door open. They lady turned down one hallway as the man kept going straight. He seen Carlie come out the bathroom. "Bingo." he said quietly. Carlie was looking down fixing her shirt when the man grabbed her from behind and put his rather large hand over her mouth and ran outside. Carlie was trying to kick free but she was no match to this large man. She kept trying to scream but his hands muffled them. The man noticed Carlie was putting up less of a struggling because his hand covered her mouth and nose making it harder for her to breathe. She slowly slipped unconscious. Sitting in the back of the van the black hooded man told another guy to hurry up and drive away.

Nicki pulled up the the school 5 minutes later. She walked into the main office to sign Carlie out. The assistant principal read the name on the sheet and called Carlie's classroom. "Can you send Carlie down to the main office?" Ms. Nancy looked around the classroom "Carlie!" she yelled. No answer. "She must've never came back from the bathroom." the teacher said with a confused face. "I was just in the bathroom and I didn't see her." Amber said to Ms. Nancy. The teacher translated that to the assistant principal.

"She's not in her classroom Ms. Maraj." she told Nicki. "Hmm, maybe Safaree picked her up already. He didn't sign her out though." She picked up her Blackberry "dumbass." she said under her breath.

"Safaree, did you pick Cee up and not sign her out?" Nicki quizzed. "No, why?" he said. "I'm at the school but they're saying she's not in her classroom nor in the bathroom." she said. "Nobody else picked her up did they?" he questioned. "Only me and you are on file to pick her up unless I send a note to the school saying let so and so pick her up." Nicki said with a little worry in her voice. "Let me call some of her friend's parents and see if they know anything." They hung up with each other.

The people in the office heard the conversation. "We'll let you know if we get some information Ms. Maraj. Maybe she's hiding." Nicki rolled her eyes at the last part but said thank you before going to her car.

In the car Nicki tried calling some people who she could have possibly left with but no one knew anything. "FUCK! How do they just let a 7 year old out of their sight?" Nicki banged on the steering wheel. She got home to find Safaree still on the phone trying to contact people. "Anything?" Nicki asked with plead in her voice. "Nope, nothing." Nicki looked down "We're going to get her." Safaree said reassuringly.

"She's missing Safaree, I just know it." Nicki said close to tears. Safaree held Nicki close and rubbed her back. "Let's call and report her missing." He handed her the phone.

"911 what is your emergency?"

"I want to report my daughter missing"

"How old is she?"

"7...she's 7 years old" Nicki's voice began to tremble.

"Can you describe her?"

"She's light skin, has long black hair, she was wearing it in a ponytail with a pink headband, she had on a pink and black Hello Kitty shirt with pink shorts and pink Polo shoes" Nicki was going a mile a minute describing Carlie to the dispatcher.

"Okay ma'am we'll send someone to you right away."

"Thank you."

Nicki fell into Safaree's arms crying again. 3 minutes later her phone rang. "Hello?" Nicki croaked

"Hi Ms. Maraj, this is the Assistant Principal Mrs. Johnson from your daughter's school. We went over our security tapes and we seen a man snatch Carlie after coming out of the bathroom." she paused to let Nicki take in that information. "We've never seen him near the school before but he got in when another parent was picking up their child. We're so sorry." Nicki stood staring at no particular object frozen. Safaree took the phone from her. "We reported her missing. When the police comes to the house we'll bring them to the school so they can examine the tapes. Thank you." Safaree hung up the phone and went back to consoling Nicki. "Everything will be okay baby." He had to be strong for the both of them.

Interlude

Of course I am going to pick up where I left off in the next chapter but this is just a little introduction of what's going to happen later on in that chapter. I should be updating later on or tomorrow.

On the other side of town
"You got the information I need, right?" A man in a black t-shirt and jeans asked.

"Yep! Got everything." His friend replied handing over everything that was requested.

"Good. I have it all planned out, it's going to take place Monday."

"You sure you want to go through with this? You could get into some serious trouble."

"I got this."

"But why are you doing this?"

"Revenge. I will get what I want in the end."

"And what is it that you want?"

"HER."

"Doing this is going to make her want you...how?"

"Shut the fuck up man and just go with it okay? I know what I'm doing."

"Whatever man. Just make sure I get what I want out of the deal."

"I got you."

They parted ways, got into their cars and drove out of the dark parking lot.

I Miss You

Nicki woke up and stretched her arm over to an empty space. She opened her eyes and looked around. "He must be downstairs" she says. She sat up in bed then cringed a little at the slight pain between her legs. Memories of last night flooded her head and made her smile. She pushed the covers back then walked to the bathroom. Safaree had ran her a bubble bath. She dropped her clothes to the floor and got in.

Safaree was downstairs preparing breakfast for the two. A simple breakfast consisting of bacon, eggs, toast and a side of orange juice. Nicki came strolling down 30 minutes later in her robe.

"Morning beautiful, hungry?" Safaree asked.

"Good morning love and jop!" Nic replied.

They walked over to the table but before sitting down Safaree noticed the way Nicki was walking asked "Feeling a little sore?" he winked. She punched him in the arm "Shut up!" she said while trying to hold in her laugh.

They sat down and talked while eating. "Last night was pretty fun" Nicki stated as she took a bite of her toast. "Mhmm sure was" Safaree said with a full mouth. "Yo, you was mad corny with them riddles though." he continued.

"Oh? My shit was corny?" She fake pouted.

"But they were cute though, just like you."

She smiled again then kissed him on the lips. They talked some more then put their dishes in the sink for Safaree to wash.

Nicki went back upstairs to get dressed. She went to the nightstand to check her phone. 3 missed calls and 5 texts. After going through the unread messages she seen the message she opened last night from the familiar name and number. She sat there contemplating what she should do before Safaree walked in the room interrupting her thoughts. "Hey babe." she said. He leaned down and kiss her on the cheek.

"Hey. I'm going up to the office to check up on everything." Truthfully, he could stay at home all day and give directions via phone to his VP Vincent and let him do all the work. He IS the president. But he liked to check up on things and make sure everything was moving smoothly.

"Ok. Could you pick me out something to wear while I go do my hair?" She asked. "Sure." he replied. Nicki walked into the bathroom to fix her hair and apply light makeup.

While Safaree was getting Nicki's clothes, he heard her phone vibrate. He went over and picked up up thinking maybe it could be a phone call. It was a text from James.

James: Idk you got the other text but Holmby Park @ 1:30?

Safaree read this with furrowed eyebrows. "What the fuck." He put the phone back down when he heard her coming out. "Here's your clothes." He pointed to them before storming out. He was going to see if she was going to say something later but knowing her he knew he'd have to bring it up.

"What was that about?" she thought. She got dressed then called back the people whose calls she missed.

"Hey Lauren. You called?"

"Hey Nic. I was calling to tell you that I will be moving out there." She cheesed.

"Eeek! When?"

"In a couple weeks! You're going to show me around or what?"

"Jop, I gotchu boo. It's nuffin. Convince Candi's ass to come too and it can be like how it was when we were teenagers." They discussed other things until Nicki said she had to go but would talk to her later.

It was now 1:11. Nicki made her way to her car and drove off. She pulled up to Holmby Park 30 minutes later. She sat in the car with her head on the steering wheel wondering if this is the right thing to do. She stepped out the car, took a deep breath and prepared to see the man that caused her so much pain in the past but at one point loved so much.

She walked through the park in her thoughts. "NICKI!" he yelled repeatedly until she turned around. He ran up to her and stretched his arms out for a hug which she rejected.

"Thanks for coming. How you been Nic?"

"Great actually. Let's get straight to the point, what did you want to talk about?" Nicki said with her arms crossed.

"I miss you."

"You miss me?" she raised an eyebrow "Funny, I can't say I miss all the shit you put me and my daughter through."

"She's our daughter."

"Oh now you want to claim her? As many times as you said she may not be yours because you thought I was fucking around even though I've ALWAYS been faithful to you?"

"I'm sorry-"

Nicki interjected "Sorry for what? The abuse? Kicking us out when we had not a damn place to go?"

"I'm sorry for everything. After you left..well..while you were gone, I really had time to sit and think. I realized my wrongs. You are a great woman and I was wrong for treating you the way I did. I want my family back."

"To be honest, it was never a family. It was too dysfunctional to even be considered one. I'm happy now, happier than I've ever been. I found a man who loves me genuinely, he treats me right and helped me realize my self worth. He's been a great father to MY daughter and he helped us when you kicked us out. I'd be stupid to believe your bullshit and come back just to be treated like shit again. I got me a real man, a president of a company, a real boss." Nicki said with the most attitude that sent hurt and anger to James' eyes.

"Woow. I'm really sorry Nic. I just want to start over, I love you. I treated you the way I did because I thought you'd always be there."

"Welp you see that didn't happen right? I said I am happy with the real man I have now. I don't want to start over and look like the fool to everybody again. I should have listened to what they said about you but I'm happy I came to my senses. If you really "love" the way you say you do then you'd let me move on and let me be happy. I forgive you because my mother taught me that it's unhealthy to hold grudges. I won't ever forget though. Now leave me alone. I'm sure you have all them other girls you slept with to tend to anyway."

Nicki walked away leaving James standing there with egg on his face, speechless wasn't even the word. She felt good to get that off her chest, it's been consuming her all this time. She wasn't exactly sure if she should tell Safaree about this meeting.

Few hours later she returned home. She seen Safaree's car in the driveway so she knew he was home. "Babe!" she called. She walked into the kitchen to see him sitting there straight faced.

"Holmby park, eh?" he asked. Nicki stopped in her tracks and just stared at him to search for the right thing to say.

Red Light Special

3 and a half months later...

Things were looking bright for all 3 of them. After the two got more serious, Nicki moved in with Safaree. Finally, a stable home for her and her daughter. Their house was huge. Safaree bought her a Mercedes, she didn't want to accept but after much persuading from Safaree she finally did. They'd gone back to New York to meet each other's families and approval was given on both sides. Carlie had even switched to calling him "Dad." She was a smart little girl and knew he wasn't her real father but he was more of a father than James ever was.

She eventually told her friends and family about what James did and of course was flooded with "I told you so" but she accepted. You live and you learn. They were thankful for Safaree thugh.

While Carlie was going over a friend's house today after school for a sleepover, Nic had some plans for Safaree. He never pressured her and made feel like she had to give him sex so tonight, she was going to give him her all. He treated her so right these past months and now she wanted to please him.

He was out with his friends today so she figured he'd pick up something to eat while out with them. Perfect, they could skip dinner and get to desert. She spent the earlier part of the day getting ready for their night.

Safaree arrived home to a dim house only being lit by candles of different scents. He looked down at a note that read "If you want this, follow the trail for a night of bliss." he smiled and followed the rose petals that led to the stairs. He looked down to see another note "Just keep on going. I promise you won't lose, please take off your shoes." He did as told before he moved along. "I know the excitement makes you want to dance, now it's time to take off your pants." He went down the hall mad anxious for what's next. "You're almost there, just one more won't hurt. So uhh, you ready to take off your shirt?" He was now standing at the bedroom door. "Yaay! You made it, ready to explore? Open the door to find out more."

Safaree pushed the door open standing in just his underwear. He looked to see Nicki standing with one hand on her hip in a silky, red robe with some red pumps. They say red is the color of lust.

"Wow, you look bad as fuck Nic." Safaree stated after licking his lips. She undid the robe and let it drop down to the floor to reveal a lingerie set that was red and outlined with black lace. Her body made Safaree shift in his underwear. She motioned for him to come over. Their lips crashed into each other's as they explored the mouths of the love of their lives as if they were on a Safari.

She jumped on him and he proceeded to carry her to the king size bed without breaking the kiss. He kissed down her neck, her breasts, down her stomach, skipped over her treasure box and went to her thighs. He made his way back up to her breasts and gave them full attention after tossing her bra on the floor. He squeezed, licked, sucked and rubbed them just right. He slipped one finger inside Nicki then quickly added the second as Nicki moaned. "Damn you're so tight." Safaree said with a voice full of lust. He had a mean finger game. Nicki came from this after a few minutes. Safaree licked his fingers clean of her juices.

Safaree kissed Nicki down her stomach again then removed her bottoms. He blew on her spot and sent chills up her spine. "Stop. Teasing. Me." Nicki said in between moans. He plunged his tongue deep inside which sent Nicki into overdrive as her back arched. "Damn you taste good." He said.

"Fuuuucccckkk." she moaned loudly making his tongue move at a faster pace. "I'm cuuummmiiinnnnggggg" she said. "Let it all out baby." She came in his mouth and he devoured it.

Nicki slipped her hand in his boxers "I want him NOW" she said with much demand and lust. He reached over to grabbed a condom but she stopped him. "No, I want it ALL with no barricades." She was on birth control.

He positioned himself in between her legs then whipped it out. He was rather large. Safaree went back to teasing then dived inside without warning, not in too deep though. She was very tight and he didn't want to cause any discomfort. "Saaaaafaaaaareeeee" she screamed. She was getting used to the size "Deeper Faree! Shiiiitt DEEPER" he did as requested and kept going deeper until there wasn't anything left outside to give. He pumped in and out faster than a child who constantly falls off their bike and runs in the house for band-aids and a kiss on their "boo boo." It shocked him that someone so little could take so much.

Nicki was reaching her limit, it was time for her love to come down. "Its cumming Fareeeee" soon as she got that out she came all on his stick. He followed soon after.

He flipped her over on her hands and knees and hit it from the back for about 15 minutes. Nicki then got on top and did a reverse cowgirl. She slid down on his rod slowly and rocked to a rhythm that he caught on to. Their bodies were in sync. After a few minutes of that they both came then laid their panting.

The best music was playing. No song, just them as they lay there catching their breath, coming down from their love making high, staring in each other's eyes. That was great sex because it wasn't JUST sex, they made love. Nicki never experienced anything that sensual with any other man before and vice versa. They sat there like this for a while before one spoke.

"I love you Safaree, I'm in love with you."

"I'm in love with you too Onika."

They sat there staring for another 20 minutes before Nic broke the stare down to get in the shower. Safaree followed behind her. "Another round?" she says, he just winked.

5 minutes later Nicki was pressed up against the transparent shower door filled with steam, taking in everything Safaree had to give. She screamed his name multiple times, that was his motivation.

After they finished, they washed each other up then got in bed and cuddled. They drifted off to sleep in each other's arms.

Nicki was awoken by the vibration of her phone on the nightstand. She moved carefully so she wouldn't wake Safaree up. She read the text from a person she didn't want to have to hear from ever again.

"Can we talk plz? Meet me at Holmby park tomorrow at 1:30." She read this message 3 more times before she put the phone down. She didn't reply. She crawled back into the arms that belonged to the love of her life, she wasn't going to let that ruin her night.

She'll sort that out tomorrow.

The Date

Nicki had just finished changing and was on her way to the daycare. It was now 7:55, she'd be a few minutes late but hoped he wouldn't mind. As they pulled up they seen Safaree standing by a black Range Rover.

Safaree walked over to them. Carlie ran and hugged his legs which made him smile. "Hey cutie" he said. He looked up at Nicki "You look beautiful, Nic."

She giggled "You don't look so bad yourself." In her mind she was saying "damn he is sexy." Safaree's sister Shawneequa greeted them. Safaree introduced everyone then him and Nicki were on their way to a 5 star restaurant.

They cracked jokes and talked on the way there. Something about the two just felt right.

They pulled up to a restaurant called Providence. The host greeted them with "Welcome to Providence, reservation name?" "Samuels" Safaree said. The waiter then led them to the back of the restaurant. There weren't many people inside.

The inside gave off a romantic, peaceful vibe.

"Hi, I'm Amy. I'll be serving you guys tonight. Can I start you two off with drinks?" A middle aged woman asked.

"Water please" Nicki requested. "A bottle of your finest wine" Safaree replied. They both picked up their menus, some of this stuff Nicki had never seen before. James didn't take her out much, especially not to a place as extravagant as this.

Nicki looked up from her menu "You know what you're ordering?"

"Yeah, I'm getting the River King Salmon"

"I'm thinking of getting the Prime New York Steak."

The waitress came back with their drinks then took their orders and put in a request for them.

Nicki looked around at the scenery "Wow, this place is nice..and expensive looking."

Safaree chuckled "You're worth all of this and more." The comment made Nicki blush.

"So tell me, where are you from." Safaree asked.

"I was born in Trinidad but raised New York, Queens to be exact. You?"

"I'm from Brooklyn but came here to LA to make some dreams of mine a reality."

"That's poppin. I came here with my daughter's father but he kicked us out after HE was being the asshole and cheated on me multiple times." Nicki stopped, surprised she felt comfortable enough to say that but felt as if she said TOO much.

Safaree caressed her hand lightly. "I don't see how any man can treat someone as beautiful as you like that let alone someone who is the mother of their child. It's men like him that internally hurt women and make them think there aren't any good ones out there...like me." He paused for a minute seeing her blush then continued "You deserve so much better."

Amy brought them their meals "Enjoy your dinner guys." "Thank you" they said in unison.

"You have such a way with words, I'd think someone like you would be taken already."

"Nah, I'm single. The females I've met out here can be a trip. They want people for the wrong reasons and I can't have someone who isn't going to help me grow as a person, someone who can make me better. But you...you're something special. Not trying to come off as thirsty." He chuckled.

Nicki giggled. "You're so cute. There's something about you that I like. But why me though? What's special about me?" Nicki didn't have low self esteem but she didn't see why a man she met over a week ago liked her so strongly. She couldn't lie and say she wasn't liking him too but this was new to her.

"You're just different. You have goals. You're business savvy. You're smart. I get good vibes from you."

"Wow. Th-thank you. You know, you make me feel so comfortable." Nicki was tearing a little. James never said such sweet things, he barely said "I love you."

They mingled some more until they were ready to go. The waitress put the bill on the table. "I can pay for some of that." Nicki said knowing damn well she really couldn't. She didn't want to feel like she was taking from him.

"What? No, I took YOU out. I'd never ask the female to pay, I was taught better than that." He smiled.

They walked to the car. "I have one more place I want to take you." Safaree said. The car ride to the other place was filled with laughter and mingling. This was the first time in a long time that Nicki could genuinely smile and be happy.

"Thank you." Nicki said calmly. "For what?" He asked. "For giving me a fun night on the town. This is really the first night I've had fun in while." He smiled "No problem, thank you for letting me." "I'd like to see you again." "I'd love that."

They pulled up to Hotel Bel-Air. Nicki raised her eyebrow "A hotel?"

"Stay right here, I'll be right back." Safaree went to the front desk and grabbed the hotel key card before returning back to the car to get Nicki. "It's okay, just follow me." Nicki did just that.

Safaree took her to the presidential suite which looked like a house to Nic. Safaree watched her stare around the room before speaking. "Carlie told me about y'all being homeless..." this broke Nicki out her gaze. "..don't be mad at her. I wanted to help you guys so I got this suite for you for as long as you need."

"What?" she said mad low as tears welled in her eyes. "This is for you, Nic. For both of y'all." She took in what he just said. He took the Black Card out his pocket and handed it to her "This is also for you guys, I loaded it with $5000 for now but if you need more I will gladly add to it."

"No. I can't." Nicki said full on crying now.

"Please? Can you do it for me and if not, for Carlie?"

"No one has ever done anything as nice as this for me. Thank you SO much!" she fell into his chest crying.

"I told you Nicki, you deserve so much more than you've been getting." They stared into each other's eyes. Nicki's lips moved closer to Safaree and soon they were kissing for what seemed like an eternity but in reality was about a minute. "Let's go pick up my baby" Nicki said as she broke from the kiss and looked at Safaree smiling.

They pulled up to the Daycare and went inside. The spotted Carlie sitting with some younger kids reading to them. She was a smart little girl. She looked up and seen Nicki and ran to her. "I missed you ma!" Carlie jumped into Nicki's arms.

"I missed you too. Let's get your things, Safaree has a surprise." Carlie's face lit up. As she gathered her things, Nicki went over to Shawneequa and thanked her.

Carlie was dosing off on the car ride to the hotel. Safaree carried her upstairs and Nicki followed.

"Carlie, Carlie baby." Nicki tapped her until she woke up.

"This is your guys home for as long as y'all need." Safaree said looking at Carlie. She jumped out Safaree's arms and ran to one of the bedrooms and jumped on the bed.

"Are you serious?! Thank youuuuu" Carlie ran to Safaree and hugged his legs. "You're so very welcome" he smiled.

He stayed with them for about 20 minutes before saying "I think I should get going. It's getting late." Safaree said. "Okay. Thank you again, I don't know I can ever repay you." Nicki stated.

"Just smile and don't be afraid to ask for help." Safaree requested. She pecked him on the lips before closing the door behind him. She turned around, put her back towards the door, closed her eyes and thanked God for everything.

"I really like him." Carlie said. "He's nice isn't he?" Nic said back.

"Can I take a bubble bath?" Carlie asked.

"You sure can!" Nicki ran her some water. After Carlie came out and was settled in bed, Nicki gave her some PJs and tucked her in bed before kissing her goodnight. Nicki then proceeded to take a bath herself. This was the first time in almost two weeks that they've taken an actual bath and will be sleeping in a bed.

They both were very grateful for this.

A New Beginning [Part 2]

They made it to Coldstone Creamery. Carlie gawked over all the flavors of ice cream.

Safaree asked Nicki would she like anything but she said no. He walked over to Carlie and asked "What would you like sweetie?" She picked what she wanted and they went and sat down.

"So, Onika is it?" Safaree asked.

"People call me Nicki or Nic." she answered.

Carlie dug into her ice cream, not paying them any mind.

They made small talk until Nic questioned "What is it that you really want from me?"

"Huh? I don't want anything, Nicki. I'm really a nice person, I don't expect them type of things from women that I just met. I see the stress and worry on your face so I wanted to help at least make you smile. I'm not the typical black male." He said genuinely staring into her eyes.

Nicki was good at reading people through their eyes, she felt he was being sincere.

"Look, I'm sorry. It's just..." she trailed off.

"It's okay, I can tell you're going through some things so I won't get in your business."

Nicki felt like an ass but she was taught not to be so trustworthy with men.

After they finished up there, Safaree walked them back to the car.

"Thank you for the ice cream." Carlie said happily to Safaree. "No problem." he said. Safaree helped Carlie into the car before walking back over to Nicki.

"Be careful guys."

"We will. Oh, you don't have to wait behind for us. We'll be okay."

"It's a habit. I can wait a few minutes."

Nicki knew he wasn't going to give up so she got in the car and planned on driving a couple blocks away.

"By the way, you're too beautiful to let the stress of life get to you and not flash that beautiful smile." Safaree walked away as Nicki sat there in a daze.

Carlie snapped her out of it. "I like him mommy." Nicki smirked and drove off.

Few days later the two were still in the routine of sleeping in the car and going to the gas station the next morning. Nicki had seen Safaree around the office a few times and they held short conversations. There was something about him that she liked but she didn't want to jump in a situation after just coming out of a bad one.

Nicki had to go to work but had no one to watch Carlie. Mrs. Jones had "other plans" as she describes them. Nic really didn't want to call off, she hasn't had the job long enough plus she NEEDED the money.

She sighed. "I guess I'm going to have to take you with me."

They pulled into the parking lot behind the building. "Cee, PLEASE stay in the car and don't let anyone in babe. I'm going to check on you as much as I can." She didn't really want to do this but she had to do what she had to do.

2 hours passed and Nicki had check on her daughter about 5 times.

Safaree was just coming back from a meeting when he looked and seen one figure in Nic's car. He walked over and seen a clearly bored Carlie twiddle her thumbs. He knocked on the window. Carlie smiled and waved.

"What are you doing in here?" he asked.

"Mommy didn't have anybody to watch me." she responded.

"There's no one at home?"

"We're homeless." Carlie accidentally let slip. Nicki told her not to tell anyone about their current situation.

Safaree eyes lit up. "Come with me."

"Mommy said not to get out."

"It's okay, I can take you to her." Safaree extended his hand while giving a sweet smile. They walked into the building. Safaree took her to the break room to get something to eat. He figured she must be hungry after sitting in a car for hours. The break room had a plasma television and mad game systems along with a computer.

"Stay right here, I'm going to get your mommy." Safaree walked to the front desk. "Hey Nicki, can you follow me?" "Sure" she said while smiling.

They went to the break room and Nicki's mouth dropped when she seen her daughter.

"You know, you really should be careful. You never know who could walk by." Safaree suggested.

"Oh, so you're telling me how to raise my child?" Nicki raised an eyebrow.

"No I didn't mean it like that, I was just saying. I'd hate for the wrong person to walk by." Nicki rolled her eyes. "Hey, she can stay here while you finish your shift. Okay? She told me about the babysitter situation."

Nicki was happy but also worried of what else Carlie might have said. "Th..thanks." she stuttered.

"I know I'm just a guy you barely know but I was wondering...it's a nice Friday..can I take you out tonight?"

"I don't know, I don't really have anyone to watch her later and-" Safaree cut her off "Don't worry. My sister runs a daycare. She's great with kids. I can have her keep Carlie with no problem."

Nicki did really like this guy, he seemed like a sweetheart. She was hesitant because she didn't like leaving her with just anybody but she agreed.

"Good, how does 7 sound? Where can I pick you up from?" Safaree asked, he knew of their living situation so he wanted to see what she said.

"Umm you can give me the address to the Daycare and we can meet up there." Nic replied.

"Sure." Safaree wrote the address down and Nicki gave him her number before he left back to his office. Nicki looked over at Carlie and was giving a thumbs up.

She chuckled. "You are too much, child. Be good for mommy, kay?" "Mhmm" Carlie managed to get out while stuffing chips down her throat. Nicki returned back to the front desk.

Safaree was in his office getting things set for tonight. He had great plans for Nicki.

This is Carlie btw. Isn't she adorable?
